NEWLIFE SHIATSU Company History

My interest in shiatsu began in 1998 as a result of my study of martial arts. During that year I completed a level one and a level two short course at a local TAFE. The next year I was invited by the short course teacher to commence a year long certificate course. I readily accepted the invitation and commenced study with Molly Wilson in term 2 of that year.

I completed the course in the year 2000 and formed Newlife Shiatsu that year. Since then the business has provided affordable shiatsu to many clients in their own homes and at the clinic. It has also regularly conducted short courses (levels 1 & 2) in shiatsu for interested students.

Newlife Shiatsu is an accredited member of the Massage Association of Australia (# 494 & 2194) and the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (# 16982). These organisations accredit Newlife Shiatsu at the therapeutic and remedial levels of massage.

In June 2007. Newlife Shiatsu relocated from Melbourne to Perth.
